Does anyone has a recommendation for a rabbi (Reform or Conservative) for a Manhattan wedding? I’ve seen a few names but think it’s important enough to get recommendations so I don’t end up with someone who sounds like they barely know us or worse, some second-rate comedian (I’ve seen both)

- Wedding: June 2010 - Tannery Pond at the Darrow School
We had a wonderful reform woman rabbi perform our ceremony. If you’d like her contact information, PM me and I’ll send you her email (don’t want to post it here for all the world to see!)

@PixieNYC: I’m in the same position as you! There was a rabbi that we really liked, but he’s moving to the West Coast in a few months, and I’m so lost! I’m thinking about checking out a few local synagogues (like Central Synagogue) and seeing if we can find a rabbi we mesh with there, and meeting with him a few times. If you find someone good, can you please PM me?? I’ll do the same if you’re interested!

I definitely will. Please do the same.
I’ve got a few names from NJ I can forward you if you are interested… still looking for some in the city.

@PixieNYC: Our wedding is either going to be out on Long Island or in Queens, so I’m kind of hesitant to get a rabbi from Jersey, especially because it would probably be annoying to go out there to meet with him. Thanks though!
