Who can share thier radiants with thier ratios? BF likes a more square stone, I’m more flexible as long as its radiant. 🙂 I’m finding that’s its easier to find a more rectangle radiant than square. (shopping online) and it’s hard know what they’ll look like just seeing the numbers.
Can’t wait to see your beautiful stones. Thanks ladies!

By ratios do you mean finger coverage or how large the stone faces up?

@AlwaysSunny: how the stone faces up with radiants 1.00-1.05 is a more square stone — anything above 1.06-1.3 is more rectangle.
@Artificial-Sweetener: very pretty1 any idea of the ratio of the center diamond. looks more square. very pretty! ive never seen a radiant in a halo. love it!

Oh I don’t know, it is not a perfect square though. Its a little rectangular.

If you want a nice rectangle go for 1 to 1.20 ratio or close. As previous poster says any thing that is 1.06 to 1 is not noticeable to the naked eye. You take the height divided by width (in mm) and that will give you the aspect ratio. I am trying to find a 1.20 ratio for my princes. HARD TO FIND!! I may have to switch to radiant.

Hi…I just inboxed you 🙂
Here is my ring. It is a 1.4 carat stone that measures 7.41 x 5.62 which works out to be 1.31 (rectangle).

My ratio is 1.13, I think. sometimes it looks square, others more rectangle to me :). I love Radiants! Not many of us out there 🙂
