Sorry, my radiant solitaire is on a 6.5.  There aren’t too many of us out there!  I can post a pic of it if you would like but thought I should ask first.

No idea of the cut of mine. My finger is 5.75 and is a halo. .5 in size. Hope this helps some.

@midnightdonuts:  Here she is!  It has been very difficult for me to get good pics since I still have a cast on my hand/wrist.  This is the radiant solitaire I mentioned and she has two eternity bands to keep her company. I am also putting up a pic of her by herself in her temporary setting.

@bnamrs4evr:  ahhhhh radiant cut. My first love. The only reason I decided to ask my future FI for a round is because radiants can vary soooo much, I really feel I would need to pick it out myself. I told him round and gave him the specs for a nice stone, but I will always secretly want a radiant! What is the carat weight on yours?

@Future_Mrs_Dr_I:  It is 1.8.  The first one I ever saw and fell in love with was a 1.0.  I lalways oved the rectangle shape but thought the emerald cut fell flat in the sparkle department.  The hubs picked the stone out himself without me.  I just told him I really wanted rectangle and radiant and gave a size range.  You are right on the variance.  It isn’t as rectangle as I wanted but the sparkle is definitely there. 🙂

@bnamrs4evr:  Awesome!!! I think it’s perfect! Wow, I suppose I shouldn’t even consider a 2 carat then, I thought yours was closer to 3, and my fingers are only a 3.5! I may get a moissy someday as a RHR. Take care of that arm/hand!

@Future_Mrs_Dr_I:  Why, thank you!  This was an upgrade.  I have small hands with short stubby fingers so anything bigger would have been overwhelming I think.  (And probably is when you add the eternity bands. I don’t even want to do the math on the whole thing.)  My first set was this 3/4 ct round cluster ring.  At the time none of my friends had chosen a RB.  I like to pick something different than what those around me either have or want so this time around required a little more creativity so when I saw the rectangle radiant I was hooked. I am a big believer in doing what you can to match your budget.  I’m sure whatever he chooses will be fabulous and you will enjoy it for many years to come.
