Is this a house you purchased or you’re remodeling? That’s a lot of nuisance problems!

WOW am I glad I have my cousins, (family) doing the renovations at my house! yikes… Can you sue?
Post # 7
looks..not so great. an explanation would help, though!

Yea, can you get this fixed?
Also, I agree with the ladies, any back story with this?

@Mrs.SleepyKitty: It would be helpful if you posted some context to these pics. All of these things would be noticeable on touring a house, so I’m not sure what is the purpose of this post?
Did you buy the house sight unseen?

Looks like an old house….I’m assuming you knew what you were getting into before you bought it? Literally all of that is cosmetic and easily fixed with a remodel…

This is the work of a friendor. I don’t even have words or energy. It’s not just this, it’s possible leaks and damp issues, see previous thread. I really appreciate the quick responses, I just don’t even have the strength to think about it just now. I’ve been so upset and stressed about this.
And my family aren’t happy I want to take out a loan to fix it. I have a (small) mortgage, and no other debts. Nothing. No car, nothing.

This is the bathroom fixed by the friend, who needed a job, right??
It looks pretty terrible. Don’t let anyone else tell you how to fix it…(your family). It’s obviously upsetting to you, not accceptable, and not something you take lightly. Do what you have to do.

@MississippiQueen: I agree. You need to get it fixed and a loan will be good for your credit. You said you have no other debt so it’s not like a loan will put you in a terrible situation.

I wish I could send you Fiance to help with any bathroom/plumbing work you may need. 🙁 I can only imagine how frustrating this is.

@Rouquine: Thanks 🙂 I wish too!
And thanks to everyone above, sorry for the lack of explanation. I’m doing what I need to do, I just wish people wouldn’t make me feel so bad for the huge mistake I made.
