Rain expected, but I have bangs

I’m a bit confused here. If you’re going to be in the rain getting wet, won’t your entire head get wet and not just your bangs? I feel like maybe I’m missing something haha. If you don’t mind getting wet and are really just concerned about your bangs, how about a French braid style with the front of your hair?

Example:

I have curly hair, so if my bangs get wet, I basically have a small fro on the front of my head. I randomly started using Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Anti-humitity hairspray, and it’s pretty great. It holds things in place and really does keep things smooth. Maybe it would help you too?

@dihy:  I think with a stylist and some product/bobby pins you could get it to stay. I’m not trying to be snarky at all, but why are you going to be getting wet and ok with it?!

@dihy: What about a really cute umbrella?  I’d be more worried about my makeup than my hair I think.

Ugh. I’m really not sure what to recommend, but I feel your pain. The moment my fringe gets wet it splits in a really ugly way – definitely not good. Depending on the length, maybe twist it off to one side, or use invisible grips to hold it right back?

2nd the umbrella idea.  when my wedding day predicted rain i was more concerned about wearing a soggy dress all night than my hair, actually. but we bought those big umbrellas & didn’t end up needign them lol

@dihy:  Will your guests be in the rain also?

I have long, wispy bangs and we did our engagement photos in the rain. My bangs looked awful as they kind of clumped together and droped over my face. On my wedding day, it was pretty windy and some photos my bangs were in my eye or weird positions, lol. I’d recommend having your hairstylist gel or hairspray your bangs to the side of your head so they don’t move!
