SO my wedding is next sat Oct.15 at a historical barn and though the actual reception is inside the barn all our pics are to be outside on the property. There is an old stone house and fiels and garden we are supposed to take pics in and now I am afraid it is going to rain.
What should I do???
Im freaking out! Did any Bees experience this problem or are worried about having it happen to them please help!!

@amberdawn1064: Bring umbrellas and rain boots. I’ve seen some REALLY cute pics with umbrellas and boots.
Also, scout out some indoor locations in case it is pouring.

Our wedding is in December, rain is likely. We scouted out indoor places we could take photos at.

Is there any kind of covered pavilion on the site where you can still be outside but not get wet? Look around inside as well…there has t be a spot where you can get great pictures regardless of the weather.
Bring a tarp to put on the ground for under your dress if you can get some outside. It will save your dress from getting soaked…and bring a hairdryer!

Definitley have a plan B! I’m in the same boat. It usually rains, and is my luck, so we have an indoor alternate location, umbrellas, and rain boots. Like a boyscout – always prepared! 🙂

@KatNYC2011: I second the umbrellas and rain boots motion – I’ve seen SUCH cute rain pics!

Just be ready and smile and laugh anyway! Considering we live in Northern Ireland and are to be married in November…rain and/or snow are highly likely!!! But I think that it might even make the pics more beautiful and special – the photographers are both professionals and dear friends (one mine, one the FI’s) so I trust they’ll be talented and excellent photos no matter the weather!

Thanks for all the great suggestons ladies!
I am definetly getting umbrellas and I have rain boots I will be bringing. I called my photog today and asked her about scouting alternate locations.
I am going to call the reception site and ask them to open the other barn on the property just incase we could go inside there and take pics.
Had my heart set on blue skies and open pasture pics but you know I guess I got to make the best of what is handed to us that day. Trying hard not to stress cause I don;t want to have a zit on top of rain, LOL, what a horrible wedding day combo if that happens.
