Yep - our ceremony and reception is outside and it says a chance of rain too.  We have NO rain plan!!  I'm super stressed.

So right there with ya!  I'm checking the weather like every 5 seconds.

    Thinking good thoughts for you!

There's some rain forecast for me too and we have a fully outdoor ceremony.

Oh dear. Do you have a tent? The forecast said rain for my outside wedding last year and we had to get one. It sprinkled and I was grateful I had it, but did not ruin the wedding. You'll be fine, sending good luck your way.

Don't stress too much about the weather!

For our wedding, the forecast said rain at 10 days out. I was told by a good friend (who majored in meteorology) that you can't trust those things until 2-3 days out.

So, 2-3 days out it was STILL going back and forth between rain and no rain. I was kind of a mess.

The day of the wedding, it was cloudy all day, and we had a lot of people calling my coordinator asking if the wedding was still outside.

The weather was gorgeous- never got over 72 degrees, and it didn't rain until much later in the day, during our indoor evening reception.

So, for now, it's not worth stressing. Just roll with it, hope for the best, and remember that at the end of the day, you'll be married either way :)

It rained on my wedding day and luckily I had plan B in place.  Make sure you have something in place for your guest (tent, have it indoor, etc...).  You just never know.  I try to have my DOC hold out as much as possible but rain came no matter what.  We still had an outdoor wedding but under a balcony.

    Good luck!

@legatorain: This is a *very* good point. Make sure you have some kind of backup.

Our back up was to move the ceremony to the reception hall. This was *NOT* what I would have wanted, but it was the least expensive option.

Obviously in the end it all turned out great, but even if it hadn't it would have been alright.

@legatorain: We have a back up plan and a very good one at that. I just really hope we don't have to use it because we run into guest transportation issues.

Keep your heads up bees and just keep your hope!

They were calling for rain during my ceremony as well - on the day of. By the time I got back from my hair appointment, they had pushed it back a little, but still were calling for rain.

There was no rain to be found during my ceremony or even my reception. When I left the venue at 9:30-10:00, it was lightning out, but that was it.

The forecast has changed to be cloudy and cool. This I can handle.
