It rained on our wedding day too.  We were fortunate enough to have a few dry hours to get all our photos done, and it started raining just as we finished.

Like the article says, rain is good luck – and rainy pictures are gorgeous, too!

It supposed to be 63 degrees and partly sunny.  Last weekend was a nightmare (huge storm came though) so I’m glad it wont be sane this weekend!

We too were forcast rain, and it rained all morning just clearing up for the photos (though there was still some rain about and we thought we were going to have to abort the outside shots at one point)

I’m happy to take the little rain that the good luck, and the few pro pics I’ve seen so far look great, so it hasnt hurt our memories or the pictures.

As pp said rainy pictures can be goregous, especially if you get out a brolly.

@Lulume:  Apart from this year, the last few summers have been quite rainy in the UK. I would actually love to get some pictures with wellies and brollies.

It does make for some memorable pictures. I love the rainy day pictures.

It POURED on our wedding day. We had 45ish minutes of dry time to take pics outside but that’s about it lol.

It poured where I lived and all the surrounding areas on our wedding day but only a couple drops at our venue. I wonder if my grandpa who passed away 2 weeks before the wedding held off the rain for us.
