My wedding pictures have to be taken in the Northern New Jersey area or Nyc area…… and the forecast so far for the weekend of my wedding says RAIN. 🙁
I tried to find a beautiful indoor place to take photos but they all charge from $200 and up PER HOUR to use their facilities to take photos. I have no idea what to do and Im sorely disappointed.
My wedding is the 27th…. we will be taking photos the 27th and the 28th (the 28th is our post wedding private shoot where it will be just he and I)
Both days its rain…. I know I know, good luck, but I have no idea what to do about pictures.

I think you should get some cool rain boots and an umbrella (maybe one with an NYC or NJ map?) and just go with it. Come rain or shine, you’re going to be so happy and the pictures will show it so might as well have fun.
Also, I hear that the lighting conditions during overcast days and rain actually make for better pictures than bright sunny days.

What about toughing it out and taking pics in the rain or under umbrellas?

I would actually suggest a clear umbrella as opposed to a fun one with a map or something…that way the light will still come through the umbrella so your faces aren’t shadowy.

Anyone know of any stores that carry large umbrellas big enough for two people?
I prefer not ordering online.
