Well our wedding is 8 days out and I’ve been stalking the forecast for the 17th since I’ve been able to see it. It calls for Rain, Humidity and Thunderstorms 🙁
I dont know what i’m more bummed about…the possibility of having to move our beautiful outdoor ceremony inside, or the fact that we’ll have to move all our pictures indoors (we picked this venue because of their beautiful grounds-perfect for pictures).
I know things could change and maybe (hopefully!) it’ll clear up but it’s stayed pretty consistant the past fews days I checked it.
We’ve had such beautiful weather for the past 3 weeks…of course the rain/gross weather decides to make an appearance next week.

@lindz629: From one June bride to another, hope it clears up for you, we’re on the 19th. I don’t know what US weather forecasts are like (presume you’re in the US) but the UK ones always change.

It said for the week or two before my wedding up until the day of that there was an 80-100% chance of rain and storms. It rained and stormed all morning and cleared up by noon and our pictures started around four so it worked out perfectly.
I was happy but honestly? I had spent so much time looking up rainy wedding pictures that I was sorry we missed out on some of those. Do a Google image search for those and think about all the awesome pictures you could get even if you only go outside for a second to get a quick picture.

Aw, I totally feel your pain. Hopefully it will clear up for us next weekend 🙂 Our indoor place is nice but I really want to get married in the gazebo outside like we planned (the whole reason we picked the venue!! )

Hopefully it will change! At 7 days out, I think my forecast was something like, 10% chance of rain (it had been zero percent chance two days before) and then it poured the whole day. And the day was still awesome.
So, basically, weather forecasting is mostly a guessing-game and it’s definitely at leat 50/50 that they’re wrong, especially this far out! Fingers crossed for you!

Don’t stress! My ten day was horrible…severe thunderstorms (which here in DFW means hail and tornados to boot!)…and I’m doing an outside wedding with NO rain plan…ooops? I’m gettin hitched on Saturday and within just the past few days it’s changed and now it looks like it’s just going to be partly cloudy and hot! Phew! Even if it does rain- it’s good luck AND makes for super blogworthy pictures 🙂
Will keep my fingers crossed for you too!

@trailmix: I’m glad your day was still awesome! I know regardless of the weather, that doesn’t change how great the day can still be..even if it changes the plans a bit!
@mandb122: You have me looking at pictures now! hehe they are actually pretty cute…guess i should start looking into getting matching umbrellas? 🙂
