That is a STUNNING dress. I love those sleeves and I think it's perfect for your venue!
That dress is AMAZING. And perfect for your setting. I'm going to a wedding in Costa Rica next month, and I've been wondering if the bride is going to go with a more traditional bridal look or something that looks more Costa-Rica-destination-esque. I adore your choice!
I like it alot! I especially like the sleeves. Very unique!
Yay!! It makes me happy that you guys like it! :D
Definitely a beautiful dress and looks great for the location!
OMG gorgeous. Seriously gorgeous. You'll look like some sort of Mayan/Aztec/Insert-Appropriate-Native-Culture-Here goddess. I love it.
1. That sounds like an absolutely amazing place to get married
2. That dress is beautiful and perfect :)
You all completely made my day. Thank you all so much! :)
Oh my goodness what a gorgeous location and dress. They fit so perfectly!
Looove the sleeves! Gorgeous and totally unique!
i feel like im being completely redundant here but OMG that dress is gorgeous and i think it fits the ceremony perfectly!! not to mention that im so jealous your having the wedding in costa rica (that place looks amazing btw).. i tried to convince my fiance to have a destination wedding and he wasn't feeling it like i was haha. anyway.. yes yes yes its perfect!
@rachie567: Thank you!! :) Haha maybe you can show him places of a ceremony location you like? He might be more inclined to have a destination wedding if there is a certain place in mind. Good luck :)
@FutureMrsHoneybee: Absolutely beautiful dress! I just wanted to ask, if you're getting married outside, how long will you be in the dress? I love, love, love Costa Rica, but it can get hot, sticky, and humid and I'm worried you'll be uncomfortable in long sleeves if you have to be outside for too long...
P.S. Please post pictures when you're done, I'm so excited for you! Costa Rica is one of my favorite places on earth. :)
@Jody23: That's actually why I chose this dress. I knew that if I got a traditional wedding dress that the heaviness of the dress plus the humidity would be too much. I didn't want the traditional strapless beach wedding dress though so I chose this one. The sleeves are lace so I'm hoping it won't be too stuffy. We are staying outside for 2.5 hours. 30 minutes of that will be spent in the ocean because we're having a trash the dress session at the end. Plus our wedding is going to be early in the morning so the sun hopefully won't be too harsh at the time. We can also go inside to take breaks whenever we need to. We're getting married on the Caribbean side and from what I've read it doesn't commonly get too hot there.
I will post recaps when I get back! Thank you. :) What parts have you visited?
Oh perfect, if you're outside in the morning, it shouldn't be too bad. You were smart to get something lightweight. I'd say that it will depend on which area and what time of year you'll be in on the Caribbean side, some places are drier than others, some places warmer.
FI and I have been almost everywhere in Costa Rica (on the Caribbean side my favorite places were Puerto Viejo and Tortuguero). To this day, I think one of the most romantic places on earth has got to be in Arenal, at the Tabacon Hot Springs Resort. They are one of many hotels/resorts in the area (and by far the nicest) that offers tons of pools and waterfalls of hot spring water. You can visit the springs part of the resort at night, and relax in the hot water bubbling water. At night you'll hear the Arenal volcano rumbling. Ahhh... it's paradise. You have to see their website to get an idea of the pools, they are incredible. Can you tell I love it there, with all my of rambling...?? Anyway, if you have time to visit, it would be perfect for a honeymoon!
OMG, I just noticed you'll be in Punta Uva! Fantastic choice, it's so private there. My FI wants to buy a home there someday... oohh I cannot wait to see pictures!
Hello!
I LOVE that dress!!! I almost bought it for my tropical wedding but chose this one instead:
I had a great experience with Lightinthebox. My dress is light and good quality. I only made alterations to make it really 'me'. (I added a black sation sash and bow and changed the frills and sleeves. Plus had it taken in because I lost weight.)
I think it is an absolutely beautiful dress and it'll be perfect for your day in the rainforest :) Good luck!!
I LOVVVEEEEEE it. Not sure if the sleeves will leave you uncomfortable though with the heat and humidity there but it is very unique and beautiful
OOOO I love that dress and think that it is a great choice! And your ceremony site looks AMAZING! I am so jealous!

Hi bees! :)
I'm eloping in the Costa Rican rainforest. I've been trying to find a unique dress for that setting and I have found a dress that I think might fit it:
Ceremony Site:

Link to the Ceremony Site (it's the Beach Suite)- http://www.costaricatreehouse.com/
What do you think? Would this look good in a rainforest? I would have some kind of flowers in my hair as well.
