Funny that you mention that commercial because I just saw it yesterday for the first time!! HAHAHA I laughed too.. as they are dancing in the kitchen. I own a snuggie and got excited to see the commercial... then i was like oh god.... who let this commercial air?!!?
Lmao! Have you seen the one for dogs yet? Yup, they have snuggies for dogs now. :P
Ha ha! I haven't seen the commercial but my grandma got us snuggies for my shower :) I like how they mention on the box how you can talk on your phone and write notes while wearing it. That's what I've really been missing - something to wear while I write notes.
i LOVE this commmercial - it makes me laugh alllll the time! i hate to admit it, but I think i want one! lol. :D

Not going to lie, the appeal of a snuggie grows every day with the threat of winter! My apt complex pays for heat but boyfriend HATES it hot!

I did the same thing! I was laughing so hard I had to rewind it to make sure it was what I saw. I can't believe they would "raise the roof" like that!!! It caught my attention though... good marketing HAHA. Oh and I love how they were wearing them in a movie theater... yeah that is exactly what I want to wear when I go to see a movie :)

I have not seen it! I've seen the boring Snuggie one, and the Jack in the Box commercial where the old couple is wearing them while Jack is talking about the quesadilas or something.
instead of a snuggie ... why not buy a robe and wear it backwards?
Haha... I work in Marketing for a catalog company and we sell Snuggies (they are incredibly popular!) and we now sell Snuggies for Dogs!! There are even leopard-print snuggies out there now :)
Yes! I saw that as I was on the treadmill at the gym today, and had to work hard not to fall off from laughter. It was even better because it was only closed captioned... what was with the people were the Snuggies in the movie theater? I wish I could do that...
LOL! I did see a little dog on the couch too, who appeared to be wearing a snuggie.... hehe I didn't even see the commercial at first, I was weddingbee-ing it and FI is the one that saw and just lost it. He rewound it so I could see haha. 
OH! and @sfcarrie - HILARIOUS article!!!! Here's a bit of it for everybody else in case you don't click on the link LOL
(at the bar) A few minutes later, a red Snuggie with pockets rolled in. Could it be - gasp! - a Slanket, the similar fleece product that is the Snuggie's natural rival (if only because it costs an elitist $40)? "Slanket, go home!" someone bellowed. But it was just an online-only Snuggie Deluxe that is 50 percent thicker and boasts pockets.

I just saw the commercial for the first time as well. I keep threatening my one of my girlfriends who is always cold that I am going to get her one as a housewarming gift - the leopard print one! HaHa!! I do wish they would make them out of softer material. Then I would be one of the freaks wearing one in the movie theater:-)
I haven't seen that commercial, but I totally asked for one for Christmas lol.
I used to always make fun of Snuggies, but the other day I was FREEZING and I wrapped myself in a big ball w/ my blanket & I couldn't type on my laptop! I needed a way to stay warm with keeping my hands free [insert snuggie]
Make fun all you want. This Christmas I'll be toasty & definitely "raising the roof" (in the privacy of my own home of course lol)
I hadn't seen this...I'm quite familiar with the Snuggie of course - I have the leopard print snuggie on my Christmas list that my FMIL requests every year. I JUST saw the commercial this morning and I laughed so hard, I thought of this post and I just lost it. I can't wait to raise the roof in my 'designer' snuggie this winter.
@zoekat: LOL! I only saw the commercial that one time, and I'm really upset about that, because I want to see it again!!!! Maybe I'll look it up online tonight. I need to be able to watch that on demand, for times I need cheering up!
LOL the dancing is HILARIOUS... I LOL at that commercial every time... but the BEST part is at the sports game, there are like 2374382 snuggie wearers but in the bottom left there's an old grouchy man shivering and angry since he's not wearing a snuggie! LOL! Look for it!
Oh and ps I got the pink snuggie bc of the breast cancer donation (finally justified the price) and I love how LONG it is... usually blankets are just a tad too short... I love it!
@kjpugs: OK, I def. missed the cold, grouchy man!!! I'm gonna have to look online now.... hahaha. I still can't believe I have only seen that commercial that ONE time! If you all hadn't seen it too, I might just start thinking I imagined the whole thing....
omg, snuggies are out of control! i hear they do "snuggie pub crawls" in england. the men in red look like cardinals! hilarious.
My husband and I were laughing hystarically the other day when we saw that commercial!
The snuggie thing is definetly crazy in my opinion! Wear a jacket outside not a backward robe!
i would rather snuggle up in a blanket snuggies look uncomfy and I think my dog would hate it too. lol
O-M-G.....after just saying I had only seen this commercial once, it just came on again!!!! hahahahaha FI heard me laughing from the other room and asked what was going on and I said "it's the snuggie commercial again!" and he said "raise the roof!!" LOLOL.
And p.s. - this time I DID notice the grumpy, cold man! ahhhhh too much!
@gingerkid4god... this is how my pugs feel about the snuggie, LOL!
I like that it's long so my feet are always covered.

OK, have any of you all seen the commercial for the snuggie, where this random middle-aged man is lounging on the couch in his snuggie with his wife i guess, who is also wearing one, and he just starts raising the roof??? And then the whole family is at a campfire wearing snuggies, and all four of them start raising the roof?!?!? HAHAHAHAHAHA I don't think I've EVER laughed out loud that hard at a commercial.
