We are looking for a venue to hold the ceremony & reception that will allow for an outdoor ceremony. Something "country" ... a ranch, barn... etc something country but with some elegance. Any suggestions?!

I never actually looked for venues here in Dallas (I'm getting married in Austin) but I found this http://www.stonebridgeranchweddings.com/

If you are open going a little further south to Austin & surrounding areas, there are MANY ranch/country/rustic venues that are so pretty in the hill country :)

There's a beautiful venue in Glen Rose, west of here... north of here, in Denton, is a beautiful ranch... nearby there's also SouthFork where Dallas was filmed, but their wedding packages are pretty weird (you can't have any outside vendors, last I checked), also Camp Valdemar, in Hunt. There's also the absolutely stunning White Oaks Ranch near Denton, which is $10k just to rent (but you get the whole place for 24 hours, including the on-site B&B).
