How often do you put on a new clean bra? I change based on my activity level (usually every other day) during the winter but in the summer I put a clean one on everyday.
I found this interesting article from Real Simple on when to wash your bra’s.
Backgroud for this question: A couple of weeks ago my MIL came over and we had a Cuban cooking marathon and the next day I got to work and I smelled like the previous days activities. I couldn’t figure out what it was for the longest time and then it dawned on me, I must’ve put on the same bra from the day before.

@Bostongrl25: According to the Real Simple, you can wear them multiple times (if you deem them clean enough)!

I don’t always wear a bra– I like “support tops” and camis that have shelf bras in them. When I do wear a bra, I usually pick a clean one, but sometimes if I’m in a rush and the bra doesn’t smell, I will put one on that I wore the day before.
My mom, however, will wear the same bra several days in a row, without washing in between. Ugh. I’ve never been able to see how she could do that– especially since she’s pretty particular about wearing clean clothes most of the time!

I rotate my bras every day but wear each one a few times before I wash them. Sports bras are the exception though, if I wore it to the gym it goes straight in the hamper!

every few days, depending on what I feel like!

Do you mean “clean” as in I didn’t wear it the day before or as in I just laundered it? I dont wash them every 3-4 wears, its probably a couple more wears… I do let each bra take a break for 3-4 days so the elastic doesn’t wear out.

I wear a new clean one every day. The thought of not kind of gives me the heebiegeebies, but I don’t know why because it’s not like they really get dirty!

@LGenz: Yes, clean is in fresh from the laundry and not worn the previous day.
@MissBoPeep: Same here with the sports bra’s. I find that mine get a little stretched out since I’m largest chested, so not only for cleaning but for fit too.

Every few days I’ll switch it out with a new, clean one. I don’t sweat that much and honestly even after a week they will sometimes be clean and smell okay.

I don’t wash them every time I wear them, but I don’t usually wear them multiple days in a row. Usually I’ll wear one, then a different one the next day. I do laundry once a week, so I just wash all the ones I wore that week when I do the laundry, unless I only wore it once, then I don’t really consider it dirty.

I switch them up (I don’t wear the same one several days in a row) but only wash them every 3 or 4 wears. My bras would wear out too fast if I washed them every time I wear them!

I have two support bras for work that I switch between, so I usually go two days with one bra, then switch. Laundry is every 3rd day hence the schedule.
