my BF's best friend is on gchat right now and his status says "People sweat the details too much." this is coming from someone who is currently unemployed (with no intention of looking for a new job soon) and living on family money, has recently moved into his $1+ million dollar apartment in NYC, just bought his now fiancee a huge engagement ring, and basically never has to worry about anything ever. really??? thanks for rubbing it in for the rest of us who have to worry about jobs, paying rent and bills and general life survival! ugh.

@Jamaica - oh he has a clue. he's like one of two people in his entire group of friends who has this life status. the rest of us all come from lower-middle to middle class families who bust our asses to survive in NYC.

i'm not gonna lie, i'm a little bitter about this situation for other reasons, but i think it's pretty ridiculous for him to say something like that when he literally does not have a care in the world! i'm sure he really meant it in the most benign way of all, though i guarantee it's a reference to something that has recently transpired between him and his fiancee... but still. just before he got engaged, his status messages would always end with "... and my girlfriend is still the cutest". BLECH! i don't know ANYONE (seriously) who puts that kind of stuff in their status messages. gah!

@kittyachi - you are awesome! tooo funny! i would totally do something like that except i think my BF might pick up on it and get mad at me. but i changed it to say "Jaxx wishes she could just sit around and eat bons bons all day".
