I had made an appointment with Anisha from Puffs & Pastries and then on the day of the meeting she leaves me a message on if she can reschedule because she wanted to help her friend with something.  Not because she was sick or there was an emergency...for personal reasons. I dont live near Baltimore and I had rearranged appointments to meet with her. So then this girl tells me we can meet on a different day and she’ll bring the tasting to me since she'll be in my neighborhood. I agree.  On the day of the rescheduled tasting she calls me and then talks to me about these fees, basically asking me if i can afford it because she doesnt want to waste her time driving if im not going to pay up.  Anyway I say the prices are fine and she confirms that she will come.  The girl stands me up! And I find that she wrote me an email checking to make sure I pay AGAIN because she doesnt want to waste her time.  She didn’t even call my cell phone.  It's obvious she didnt want to drive down to meet me so why did she offer and make me waste my time.  Businesses shouldnt just be about the product but the customer service.  Totally unreliable. Not to be trusted!  I felt so dissapointed and disrespected.

Bummer! Definitely go with another company. Sometimes vendors have things that happen, but you know what, you don't get a successful business by standing up your customers without a very, very good reason.

Bad reviews spread faster and harder than good ones.

I have to second this...at first  I didn't want to say anything b/c I thought it was just me but apparently not... We scheduled a tasting (early October 08) and everything was great and we decided to go with her for our cake.  The only catch though is that we wanted to be able to have the contract and make a deposit by the end of October 08 because we were leaving the country.  She said that was fine, we sent her the design...adn then nothing. We never received a contract!  I emailed her again in November and again at the end of December and still...nothing.  I was trying to give her a deposit for pete's sake.

We decided to do a cake buffet in the end and we won't be getting cakes from her.  For someone who recently opened a bakery this is pretty poor business conduct.
