Here are the name combos I love for our future baby boy - which is your favorite, and would you re-arrage any middle names?

Other names we like to throw in there for more options include -

Orin, Owen, Avi, Nolan, Silas, Liam, Asher.

@mh.albania:  I like a lot of those!  I liked Rohan the best first, because I read it as "Rowen," so I just wanted to throw that out there too after I saw you have Owen as a choice as well.  Rowen or Rowan, I don't know....I've only heard that one a couple of times and liked it...Just thought I would mention since you seem pretty open with choices!

    Meanwhile, I voted Kalan ReidSmile

Rohan is actually pronounced like Rowen, it's a Gaelic spelling. But I'm glad you like it!

I also like Kalan Reid.  I think Brennan Leigh sounds too much like a girl (no offense).

I love Gideon!  And I like both Lane and Reid as middle names with it.

Just wanted to point out that Leigh is the feminine spelling of Lee. You might want to take that into consideration. Of the names you've mentioned, I like Owen and Nolan best.

Asher Brennen or Asher Reid. Brennan Leigh made me think of Brandon Lee from The Crow.

Agreed -- nice ideas, but Leigh is the feminine spelling.

I'm for Rohan Kade, or maybe even Rohan Asher -- I love Asher! My boss and his wife just had a little boy in March and his name is Asher! It's such a solid name!

I don't know if you have ever watched Pregnant In Heels with Rosie (someone) on BRAVO, but I love her! If you have ONDEMAND or anything, try to find her! They had a baby name test study and board of directors to find solid names that demand respect when you hear it, to make sure they're childs name let off a good "BRAND" it was crazy, but so interesting!

    Good Luck!

I vote for Silas because that's my cat's name and it is WAY COOL.  Second to that would be Liam because it's really cute.  But I don't really like any of the ones in the poll, sorry!

Just giving you a heads up, Rohan is an EXTREMELY common Hindi boy name (pronounced Row-han). It didn't even occur to me that it was Gaelic name as well. We actually considered it for our son (my husband is Malaysian/Indian and we're going to go with a Hindi/Tamil/Sanskrit first name) but it's just so common, so we decided against it.

You may have known this, but if not, I figured it was good info!

I love Brennan, but I think I would spell the middle name Lee for a boy.

I really like Kalan! That's what I voted for but a close second for me was Gideon :) All of your names flow really well though, good choices.

I like Brennan the best, followed by Rohan.  Kalan sounds too close to a girls name that is very popular right now.

I love the name Owen! I would have choosen it for my little boy, but my DH didn't agree. Liam is also a great choice.

If it were my child I would be taking into consideration (and I'm not meaning to say that you aren't, I'm sure you are) how much said child is going to be made fun of over my choice of a name for him. While originality is awesome, children are unkind as a general rule.

I happen to have a very common female name, as in I was forever in a class with at least two other girls with the same name until I was 18. However, my mother's original plan was to name me Gertrude to be "different". I am extremely grateful for my common name in comparison to Gertrude.

Names like Rohan (can you imagine the Lord of the Rings puns?) and Gideon may not be the greatest options. A monicre like Gideon would also be a rough one to grow up with, as nicknames and abbreviations would be far and few between.

I think Owen and Liam are very nice. I personally like Nolan as well, but FI's best man (of the same name) hates it and felt that as a child he was often singled out for having a "different" name.

Good luck with whatever you decide!
