I was a VERY cool as a cucumber bride *most* of the day.. I had one minor major freakout, and I think it was something almost any bride would have lost her noggin over (dark soda spilled on my dress before I even got to put it on.. my fault)… Apparently I had another that I didn’t even know about.. Towards my mother.. She was CONTINUOUSLY counting down the hours/minutes/seconds until ceremony start.. When I was finally mostly into my dress (I think they were perfecting the bow).. I apparently snapped.. Our photographer got a picture, and saved it as a good one (WHAT??!)
Anyone else have one of these? Post it! Here’s mine
Boy do I look pissed! (I REALLY don’t remember this at all!)

@MrsPaperFlowers: You are priceless! I hope things are cool with you and your mom now. I’m taking note of the stain issue – do not have anything near the dress that is liquid. Thanks! 🙂

@PrincessPerry: yeah I was all around angry about the soda.. My mom looks just like I do when my sister does things like this :- .. I am NOT that kinda girl 🙁
@GeorgiaBride5: I wrote this shortly after our wedding, hope it helps! ETA: We are cool, we never had an issue, I guess the counting down just got to me…

- Wedding: September 2013 - B&B
Haha! I love the face. I was in a friends wedding in April…
The grooms mother (and most of the rest of the family, since they came together on a bus) was running late… it was 30 minutes to ceremony time and they hadn’t arrived! And apparently no one was answering their phones.
So the bride knew that the groom was very stressed out and worried. She herself was calm though, trusting that MOG would show up. Even if it was last minute, she would be there and it would all be fine.
But the BRIDES mother just kept repeating “It will all be ok, don’t freak out, I am sure they will show, I know (groom) is upset, but just don’t worry, it’s fine….” And the bride would be like “I know mom. Yeah, its ok, I’m fine.
MOG: Its ok! It’s all fine. No worries here! We’ll be ok!
Bride: Yes… mom… I know….
MOG: It’s ok! No need to worry…
Bride: YES I KNOW MOM…
MOG: He will be ok when she gets here. No need to worry!! No need to freak out, we’ll be good! It will all be good…
Bride: MOM I AM NOT FREAKIN OUT SO IF YOU KEEP TELLING ME TO KEEP CALM AND NOT FREAK OUT THEN I *WILL* FREAK OUT.
