Do any of you other bees have issues with razorburn?! I have really sensitive skin, and I am so tired of it! I’ve always had problems with getting razorburn every single time I shave – legs, under arms, any where. I have tried so many different razors and shaving creams. What the heck am I doing wrong, and why have I not gotten it figured out within 15+ years?!
It is worse at some times more than others, but most of the time I wouldn’t dare wear shorts out in public. Embarrassing!
Anyone have suggestions for razors, shaving creams, soaps – I’ll try anything!

@squigglybaby: invest in a good razor, first of all. I like 3 blades because any more or less and i’ll get irritated. Also, I use men’s shaving cream. It’s thick and does the job. also, the more often you shave, your skin will get used to it. I shave my legs and down there area every single day and I no longer have an issue with razor burn or irritation. Also, don’t put lotion or anything scented on immediately after shaving, wait a good twenty minutes at least.

@squigglybaby: Make sure you are properly exfoliating before you shave. Hard water might also be putting a “film” over your skin when you shower. I know this sounds crazy, but I take some vinegar in a spray bottle, spritz a little on each leg, and rinse the film off. The water here is so crazy hard, though, so that might be overkill for you. Your skin should be properly moisturized in general, too. I like to rub lotion in a couple of hours before I shave because I shower in the evenings.
