@Mrs.LemonDrop:  I recently saw a video where they played the sound of dial up internet connecting for a bunch of little kids and asked them if they knew what it was, none of them had ever heard it before.

    I felt so old.

LMAO when I was looking on Craigslist for a subletter, I literally got like 15 of those emails. I thought it was hilarious. Some of them would be like “I will send you a picture of me with the next email so you will know I am truely honest!”

The sad part is that the people they are scaming are most likely elderly, vulnerable people 🙁

I saw a lot of these when we were trying to move. So sad that people fall for this.

I always get scams from posting a room for rent. The whole ‘I am from (insert foreign country)…’ Most surprising thing is that they last one was actually real and was a roommate. My sister dealt with renting that one, so idk what the email looked like.

It is so irritating for those of us trying to find real renters/places to rent

@echolove:  My cousin fell for it. She had her identy stolen since she provided her social security number. The property they saw was for rent but by another realtor and price. THe property of course was too good to be true. So yes people fall for these all the time. As long as people keep thinking its true, the scammers will continue trying
