Sounds silly to me.

However, these probably wouldn’t be photos you share with many people, so if you want them for yourselves, then why not? What others think won’t ever even matter.

I think it might be more constructive to schedule a photo session more like an engagement shoot- maybe take your photographer with you to a carnival or something like that.

Recreating wedding photos would yield nice photos, I’m sure, but unless you were majorly unhappy with the originals, you’ll just end up with more of the same types of photos.

I think it would be awesome to schedule 2-3 hours with the photographer in the morning at a fair and get really bright, vibrant fun photos, and then spend the rest of the afternoon having fun for your anniversary (or whatever kind of event works for your dynamic).  A couple bees have done carnival shoots and I think they look so fun- I can’t find the one I was thinking of but here’s another nice one. http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/finally-posting-my-fabulous-engagement-photos-pic-heavy#axzz2biQOizLD

I want to do this! DH lost a ton of weight since our wedding and he HATES how he looks in our pro pics. He suggested we do this awhile back (I’m looking for any excuse to put my beautiful dress back on!), but we’re balking at the moment. We’re just too busy for it at the moment, but I’m gonna follow this thread to see what kind of interesting ideas come up!

We plan on doing this soon. We have MAJOR wedding day photo regrets. The photograher missed out on alot of shots. I didnt get a full shot of me in my dress, NONE with my mother, NONE with DH and our kids. I mean these are very important pics that we DID request and she did not deliver. We will be taking pics in my parents backyard. They live off a lake. I will be doing my hair and makeup completely the opposite of what I did on my wedding day. My hair was up on my wedding now it will be down in loose curls with a bridal hair comb pinned in it. My makeup will be more bold colors. I’m so excited!
