- Wedding: September 2013 - Creek club at ion, SC
Sooo due to life … my visa interview date has been pushed back to just before my wedding leaving me with not a lot of time to do anything. I planned to go to the USA a lot earlier and get my ring re-plated/re-dipped. However with my lifetime care plan they will have to send it off and that is just not an option so close to the wedding.
Does anyone know of any major jewelry stores that will plate/dip my ring on site? Ive heard it can be done. I will be in Charleston, SC if that helps

I would just start calling stores and asking.

Your best bet is a jewelry or watch repair shop. A lot of chain stores don’t do any in house work, but a repair shop will definiltey be able to plate/polish your rings for you.
