lol. Pre-work makeout session...niiiiiiiice. ^_^ Glad to hear about your happy ending.
Thanks. I just felt like I had to share this story for some reason. Don't know why.
Aw, my BF and I had an actual fight this weekend also, and we normally don't. It ended up bringing us a little closer and clearing the air.
I have to say, the "all the while trying to maintain the Christmas spirit" cracked me up!!!!!!!! Glad you guys made up
That after-argument silence is never any fun!
@honeybun: I know, it was a total contradiction. I'm trying to enjoy the mood while screaming at my FI. MIght as well call me Scrooge.

I've posted on here once or twice concerning housework and how I felt I pretty much did everything around the house unless I actually asked my FI to do something. It's rare he takes the bull by the horns and does some sort of chore without being asked. (I'm sure I can thank his mom for this one.)
The advice that was given was to talk with him and I did that. And it was good for about a week.
We had a great day yesterday. Spent some QT together and then finally came home so I could tackle my Christmas decorating (let the ooo's and aaah's begin) and all was good. That was until I decided to move a plant from our kitchen into the office. My desk hosts the laptop and it somewhat tidy and in order. His desk looks like hiroshima went off. Stacks and stacks of CRAP. You can't find anything. So he's been working off my desk. I took a peeksie and now his crap is piled on my desk. I, of course had to mention that I hope he was planning on tidying up my desk because I didn't want it to look like his and then WWIII began.
We haven't had an argument in a long time. Disagreements, yes but not arguing. I guess we were do because holy crap, he was screaming to me from the office and I was yelling back from the kitchen, all the while trying to maintain 'the christmas spirit' for decorating. Who the heck am I kidding.
After the dust settled and silence was upon us for 2 hours, our show was on tv - the amazing race. I was already sitting on the sofa, he walks in and over to me.
Him: "I'm sorry."
He leans down to kiss me.
Me: "I'm sorry too."
DONE.
Maybe we just needed to get it out and be done with it. Perhaps I chose the wrong battle to begin but it was done and over. Apologies stated.
Then this morning we completely made out at the door before I left for work...pretty hot and OH so much better than arguing!
