When do you need the information for the venue? If you set the deadline on Friday and need to hand over info on Monday, then you may need to do some pushing.

If you’ve got a couple of weeks, ten give them the weekend. If the deadline is today, people aren’t late until after today has finished, and in reality, is 24h going to make any difference overall? (If you do happen to be speaking to someone who hasn’t RSVP’d today, you could throw it into conversation, but I wouldn’t call to do it)

I’d call guests (you call your side, fiance calls his side) and just say “Hey, I was wondering if you’re coming or not, I need to get the numbers to the venue soon!”

sunshadebride :  I would call tomorrow just because they have all day today to RSVP, you didn’t do both online and mail-in RSVP’s? When did you send your invites out?

sunshadebride :  the only reason why you give people an extra week after the RSVP deadline is to account for those who dropped their RSVP card in the mail on the deadline day – so, basically waiting for the post. since it’s an online RSVP, you don’t have that issue. i wouldn’t start contacting them tomorrow.
