First time using OPK’s…
FF says I should be Oing today…
I got this yesterday evening:
And this was this morning’s:
What do you think? Is the test dark enough to be a positive?
My temps are pretty steady, and still low…

Which side is the test and which one is the control?

Round is control… they’re from Target, like UP brand?

I just read this in the book, ‘Great Expectations’ but basically, if you can see it at all, it’s a yes. You can keep testing and the more hCG you produce, the darker the line will be. I also had a coworker who wasn’t sure because it was a really, really faint line. Her daughter is six. 😉

If the square is the control line and the circle is the test line personally i’d say your not quite there yet but I would BD every other day until it is as dark or darker then the control line- once it is as dark or darker I would BD 3 days in a row (poor long suffering DH!) But you know you better then I do, the OPKs should match up with fertile CM and sometimes you may also have ovulation pains.

If the round is the control line then both OPK’s are definitely negative. Keep testing and don’t get discouraged.

i would BD every night for the next few days… but i think that is a nagtivef or right now! Good Luck!

@artichokey: this is an OPK it measures LH for ovulation, it’s not a Pregnancy Test.
Personally I don’t think it’s quite positive yet.

With rare exceptions, the test line needs to be at least as dark as the control line for it to be positive, so I’m going to say no. But mine always looked this way a day or two before I ovulated…I had a “fade-in effect”…so I would get busy anyway 😉

Test again tomorrow. Doesn’t look quite dark enough, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun tonight anyway. 😉

Your test line has to be as dark or darker than the control line. If its not it is a negative.

Sorry, I don’t think this is a positive yet.

OPK’s are tricky. I never got a fully dark line, probably because I drink so much water and have a bladder the size of a teacup. It would look like what you have for 3-4 days and then my temp would spike and I would realize I had O’d.
So basically it took me a few cycles of reading both my temperature and my OPK’s together to be sure what the line looked like for me personally to be O-ing.
I might suggest grabbing an expensive test (the one that gives you the smiley face) and using that. In the early cycles that’s how I confirmed when I was fairly certain I was o-ing.
That said, I got KU when we BD’d 3 days before O. If you’ve got a line, go get busy sistah!

Oh I said yes but then realized the 2nd was just upside down. I’d say nope not yet. Not as dark as control yet.
