I would drink water over a bourbon milkshake. Can you do something less dessert like?

Honestly it sounds like a well planned wedding. You seem to have all the details worked out. I don’t see why you are doubting yourself.

I think it sounds like you stretched that 3500 remarkably and it’ll be a great day! And FWIW I would loooove a bourbon milkshake but yes, dairy and sugar and booze is not the easiest on the stomach. Especially if there is not other alcohol I Would pick a simpler more universally loved drink- also blenders/frozen drinks can be a pain to make in bulk. Way more labour!

Can I come?! It sounds amazing, the food, the location, the drinks. I think the milkshake sounds amazing but if you can somehow mange it I would have one more “boring” drink that isn’t so sweet or milk based for people with weaker stomachs.

I would skip favours completely. I always see them as a waste of money and have never noticed when there weren’t any. I especially love that your paper flowers are made from your emails. That is so incredibly sweet. I honestly have no idea how on earth you are managing it all on such a modest budget. I can’t wait to see photos of the tree and the general store after your wedding.

That sounds like a delightful day and I know I’d be happy to attend any event that well-planned and thoughtful. I say take a deep breath and be confident that you’ve planned a fun wedding packed full of meaning.

It sounds gorgeous and I would happily attend a wedding like yours! You’ve done amazingly to stretch your $3500 that far!

Sounds awesome to me. I’m not sure if many people will drink a virgin peach daiquiri (unless you have a lot of non drinkers) or the milkshake (although I would have a small one as long as it’s stiff – yum!). I would definitely have some regular beer and wine too though.

Wow, that sounds amazing! I love that your bouquet is being made using those emails, and I have no idea how you managed to stretch your budget for so much! Perhaps there’s a future as a wedding planner somewhere for you!

My only two notes are: I agree with everyone else that the burbon milkshake might be a bit of a heavy drunk, and that you might want to see what the ingredients are in the pesto since you only have 1 entree option. It’s so silly, but I’m allergic to nuts and pesto is one of those foods that nuts hide in – sometimes it’s made with pine nuts which, for some people, can cause a reacton (the caterer/venue should be able to make a pesto sauce with just basil and all the other goodies that go into it, minus the nuts and it shouldn’t change the actual flavor much at all). But if youre sure that no one has any allergies then it’s totally not a big deal!

But seriously – your day sounds like it’s going to be AMAZING!

2YorkiesMama: sounds lovely but both drinks sound crazy sweet. Also, is there a vegetarian option?

i can’t really do friday weddings but if everyone who is going is committed to going, it sounds amazing. I’m kind of jealous!!
