Our ceremony is 6 pm, but here is my sort-of schedule.

Starting hair at 9am (me and I think 3 other girls are getting our hair done, one hair dresser…and I’ll also have my makeup done).  We are planning on leaving for the first look around 1230 for it to start at 1, then pictures will follow.  I want to be at the church by 5 so we have an hour of extra time.

My hairdresser gave me approximate times she would need, but I don’t remember them.  Ask yours, and you’ll have a better idea.

@hgail: My ceremony is also at 4pm! 🙂 I already asked my hair and make up person and she said she’ll come by at 1 pm 🙂 I will be ready by 3 pm — we will be taking pictures too!

How far away from the ceremony are you getting ready? Are you wanting to go somewhere special with the girls for pictures that will take additional transit time? Add up all those drive times, then multiply by at least 1.5. Then think about how long the pics will take, and multiply by 1.5. Then think about how long it will take all of you to get ready….and multiply by either 1.5 or 2. THat’s the time you need to get ready!

I had my makeup done at 8 am (it was the only time my makeup artist could come out) and my hair done around noon for my wedding at 6.  We did pictures at 4.
