Is the toner semi-permanent? i know that when I've had highlights and they've toned it, I've been warned that the toner will fade out eventually leaving the highlights as is. I would suggest going back to the salon and having them add in more highlights on top of what you have - in the color you want, and probably thinner pieces too so it looks more natural. Hope that helps!

I got highlights this weekend from a new salon, and they were WAAAY too light. I wanted very subtle, carmel-y highlights, and they were bright white streaks. They toned it down by putting "toner" on top, but its still very unnatural looking, IMO.
Am I just going to make it worse by going back and having them "tone" it down more? Am I better off just going somewhere else and having them dye my hair back to its original color? Ahh I don't know what to do, I'm just super self-conscious about this and do not want to look this unnatural for the wedding!
