Darling Husband recently got me a new setting and also wants me to get a new band to match. I got 3 to choose from. The first one matches the closest to my ering but is the most expensive and I really dont want him spending that much. Not sure also if it takes away from my ering. The second one is very similar to the first one only the stones are a little smaller and this one is about 200 cheaper. The last one is plain with milgrain only thing is its platinum and my ering is 14k. Im not sure if its wise to wear different metals. I seem to be leaning towards the plain one because i think the other ones take away from my ering. Darling Husband says he will get me a diamond band for our 5 year anniversary. Just wondering what you ladies think.

I love the look of plain bands with blingy e-rings, and IMO you’re right about the other ones competing with your e-ring. That’s just my personal taste, but it sounds like it’s yours too…

I like the first one.
Which ring would you prefer to have it you go somewhere and your not wearing your e-ring?

I like how the plain band compliments your engagement ring instead of competing with it.

Agree with @lolot: and @mrsztobee:
The plain band definitely compliments and doesn’t overpower your e-ring. Also, I would suggest getting it in the same metal as your e-ring. Different metals have different hardness and the rings will damage each other.
The other two diamonds bands are too busy with your ring, imo.

I like the first one best!

I like the first one best, followed by the second one. I definitely do not like the third one.

If you have the internet, you have way more than 3 to choose from. I like the millgrain without the stones – it doesn’t compete with your e-ring like the diamond bands do.
However, you definitely shouldn’t pair platinum with 14k gold – it will damage the gold!

Love the way the plain looks with your ering!!

I prefer the plain band as it compliments but doesn’t compete with your e-ring!

This is hard for me because honestly….I like all three!! If I was the one picking I would say the first one. Either of them would look good though…so, you can’t really go wrong. It just depends what look YOU are going for.
Let us know what you decide!

I like the first and third ones, and would say whichever one you pick depends on your style, if you’re more of a blingy girl or not. I would say, though, that if you go with the milgrain band to get one in a metal matching your ering. Platinum can “eat” away at gold.

I”m a bling kind of gal and I actually like the plain band with your e-ring. I think it looks the best that way. Plus the other bands take away from your ering. While the plain band enhances it.

I like the first one. While I like plain bands I’m not fond of the one pictured.
