Although I've been wearing mascara for 15 years (omg I feel old), I still get mascara underneath my bottom lashes when I apply it.  It's not noticeable if I also wear eyeliner, but if I don't...yeah, not pretty.  I've tried different mascaras.  Trust me, it's user error.  Any tips?

Just use a wet q-tip to touch up after :)

I always get mascara below my lower lashes - I use a moist q-tip right after I use the mascara and it's like it never happened :)

Try the "business card" trick:  place a business card (or any small piece of paper) under your lower lashes.  Put the paper right up to your lash line, and apply your mascara.  Any mistakes will go onto the paper, and not onto your skin!  Hope it helps! xo

If you keep getting mascara on your while you're applying, try looking down into a mirror when you apply - this gives you a good angle to get the product into your lashes without smudging against your face.

If your mascara seems to "melt" off and collect under your eyes at the end of the day, try a "smudge resistant" or "transfer-free" mascara. Some mascaras will melt off your face due to heat or oil on your skin, so make sure you apply makeup when your face and clean. Hope that helps!
