hahaha.... what a random gift. bu hopeful they'll be useful once you get the camcorder & siphon!
I actually had to exchange a gift on Amazon and it was great - they won't tell the sender (although they were fully aware of it in my situation)....and then just send you a gift card for the full amount and you can shop for whatever else with it!
@knapper08 - is that true even if it's through a third party seller? We'll defintely buy ourselves the soda siphon if no one else does, but we probably won't buy ourselves a camcorder this year otherwise... and that one's through a merchant I've never heard of before!

But hey, I asked for it!
Today I got an email from Amazon.com that items had been purchased from my registry! I was SO EXCITED because this is our VERY FIRST gift!! So I clicked to see what it was... too soon to show who bought it, but what we got CRACKED ME UP.
Whoever it is bought us a memory card and soda chargers... a memory card to a camcorder that no one has bought for us yet, and chargers for a siphon that no one has bought for us yet. :)
Hopefully we end up getting the camera and siphon off the registry, or I may have just set us up for the most useless gift in the history of wedding gifts. ;) And they're not *directly* from Amazon, so they won't be easy to return, either!
Oh well. Hopefully now that those are out of the way, no one will buy us serverware for a dining set that we never receive, or filters for the distiller we don't get...
