LMAO! People are clueless. Did they have their return address on the envelope so you at least know who it is from?
Hah. We got a couple of those, too.
I really wish I had done what I've heard some other brides are doing: number the response cards to correspond with a numbered guest list.
We got a few no-names, but at least they put whether or not they were going to attend!

Numbering the response cards was huge for us. Save us multiple times because people didn't write their names. But to not write your name AND not actually select whether you are attending or not? That's just weird.
Yikes! Lesson for other brides to number their response cards! We got an RSVP today with a name on it but they didn't indicate if they were coming or not! I had to call my mom (it was her neighbor) to double check.
Oh my goodness, that is horrible! They should have at least filled out the rest of the darn thing! Lol...
I would make a seperate pile for questions and you can try to figure it out later once more come in. What a fail though!
Oh no! It would make me want to put out a blank place card that just says "2".
Kinda funny- we did postcards too and someone sent it in an envelope with a note about losing the return envelope. Did she not see the stamp?
Just mailed out invitations today and put numbers on every single RSVP card - I am now thankful I did this once again!!

That happened to us, except they picked their meal choice. We waited until the RSVPs were all in (well, until the date + a week passed), then were able to figure out it was one of my cousins who was coming but who we didn't have an RSVP from.
LOL... response card FAIL.
At least they put it in the mailbox?! :)
Hah, love it!! You will def. look back and laugh at these moments. I feel like you find out how clueless people are when it comes to weddings. But in all seriousness, hope you cracked the mystery!
