Bees with fitness knowledge, I need you!
I’m 5’5″ petite-ish frame & about 130. I can wear size 2-4 jeans, dress, etc. And medium shirts. Back in my dancing days I was 106-110. I have a sedintary job so that packed on the lbs quick and I stopped working out etc.
After our engagement last Aug. I tried to eat better, and work out when I could but I kept putting it off. (The queen of procrastination here).
Since the beginning of April Fiance & I got in the gym and have been working out 4-5 days a week, depending on our work schedules. I’ve cut out soda & fast foods. When we do eat out, I usually stick with a salad/or grilled chicken types. (I love chicken!) We alternate between cardio and strength training and I’m sore in some part of my body almost everyday! I try to eat protein after work outs and fruits/veggies before. I slip up every now and then, but I’m trying! I miss my 110/size 0 body! But I’d rather be a healthy weight and nice & tone!
At this rate- what would be a good guestimate for my weight in midJune? And any suggestions to help expedite the process?
*I’m trying to lose weight, Fiance is trying to gain weight (about 20 lbs) I wish I could give him mine :/

@futurepilotswife_: they say the maximum amount of weight you should lose at a healthy rate is 2 pounds per week. That being said, I think 15 pounds is definitely doable if you stay consistent and really dedicate yourself 🙂

@futurepilotswife_: I’d say you could safely lose 16 lbs by your wedding date and I think that’d be plenty for you being 5’5″. Losing 2 pounds a week is healthy weight loss. How much have you lost so far?

Just some prospective for you. I have lost 28 lbs in 12 weeks. I lost larger amounts per week the first couple weeks since I went from not working out to working out 6 days and eating junk to eating really good. Now I have slowed down and only lose .5 to 2 lbs a week. You can do it!!

It totally depends on the person. I could eat perfectly and workout every single day and it still takes me months just to lose 5lbs. It took me like 4-6 months to lose 15lbs , the fact that people apparently lose 2 lbs in a week is laughable in my life because I just never ever could. My biggest advice would be throw out your scale and worry more about toning and how you look than a number, especially if you’re working out and gaining muscle.
