Weddingbee boards

Calling all local bees! I am looking for someone to do the photopgrahy/videography for my wedding for a reasonable cost. Everything I have seen in $1200 and up. I really just want someone there a few minutes before the ceremony, during the ceremony and then for the first hour or so of the reception. Maybe 3 - 4 hours total??? Who are you using?

Hey! I can't think of the name off the top of my head, but a friend of mine in Palm Bay referred a photographer to us that she knows but we already had one booked (Lens Flare Photography, but she is located in Destin, FL). Anyway, I will ask her to tell me the name of the person again and then let you know later. It might take a day to relay the information though!

@MadTight:  They're perfect so far! Everything booked... just sitting and waiting... and earning money to pay everyone! Haha!!

Helen, a huge problem you are going to run into is that your wedding is on 9/10/11. That day and 11/11/11 are the absolute most popular days of the year. So two things are working against you:

1. Almost everyone is booked.

2. Those that aren't booked will likely not want to take on reduced coverage on a date that is very popular and could be booked at full price.

Is your date flexible at all? If so, I highly recommend moving to another date and having a much bigger choice of photographers!

Here is the photographer I had mentioned before. I have no idea what the prices are but hopefully they are reasonable.

@kwynn:Nope...date is not flexible. We picked that date because...well it's that date - 9.10.11.

If we can't get a professional photographer I do have a couple of friends that do photography on "the side"...more of a hobby than anything. I have seen pics from events they have attended and they were some great shots...but then there were also lots of pics that it looked like "I" took and I'm definitely not a photographer. Everything is booked...the venue, the officiant, the caterer, etc., so like I said, if we can't find anyone we will just have to wing it and rely on friends to get some good shots.
