Mrs. Lime and Mrs. Margarita both posted about LA photobooth companies!

Hope that helps!
I've got a great company, and so far I'm really happy with them! http://www.weddingbee.com/2008/10/07/party-photo-booth-rental/
Tell them Meatball sent ya :)
I've researched about 9 photobooth companies for prices...based on 4 hours of unlimited manned photos. The most affordable of the lot? YourPhotoBooks.com at $800! I have prices for the other ones, too, if you want to know them...
go to photoworks.com they are really neat because they make scrapbooks for the bride and groom of all of the guests that take pictures in it. they also have fun costumes to dress up in. what a great idea. i am still debating if i want my wedding that big, but if i do, they are my first choice.
Oops.. I need to make a correction to my post - it's http://www.yourphotobooths.com (not photobooks!) the rates are not on there, but its $800 for 4 hours with an attendant. He's located in Pasadena, CA. Unlimited prints that takes 27 seconds. PM if you have any questions.
You could always ask your photographer(s) to set one up for you. We asked ours and they took care of everything; we just provided the props and the guests. Plus, for us at least, the photographer-directed photobooth pics turned out much better than if we'd had an automated booth.
I am looking for a photobooth company in the Philadelphia area...any help?
Yeah, it might help to ask your photographer if they are able to offer photobooth services. I am a wedding photographer and my studio offers manned photobooths. Having someone behind the camera interacting with your guests really captures the party atmosphere as well as your guests personalities, the photos sometimes even get a bit crazy! Check out my blog for examples www.harrisonlongphotography.com/blog, but yeah, it's probably more cost-effective to have your photographer do a photobooth than renting one.
yah i think im going to ask my photographer to set something similar up too so i don't need to spend extra $$ for a photobooth and perhaps in my album i could have them put it in one of my pages as a film strip of all the guest that took them
I love love love LA Photo party! It's not cheap, but it's sooooo great. Better than a photobooth.
You can have a scrapbooker come and make photo memories for each guest as their favor! So reasonably priced
cheap DIY solution:

a brother created it for his sister's wedding, and now he's offering the application on his site.
check it out
I'm using www.snappyjoephotography.com Their photobooth isn't on there, but if you e-mail him he can give you a pricelist. They're very attentive!
we used instabooths! and they were such a HUGE success at our wedding!
they are the cheapest photobooth out there, i've researched about a dozen here in LA.
By the way, they just changed their name fr. the yourphotobooths that czrena was talking about above.
Tuan is the contact/email guy, and John was the friendly booth guy at our wedding. We had a last minute issue with our check not clearing our bank so I had to hurry and drop off a cashiers check to them a few days before the wedding but then my bank "miraculously" cleared it the next day which ticked me off! But Tuan and John were very gracious and actually brought me back my cashiers check to our wedding (i was surprised they didn't clear it right away)! That kind of service was unexpected and very nice. Also, John actually tracked my and dh down at the reception before our time was up to make sure we at least got some pix in the photobooth! And we got our dvd of all the photos so quickly, within two weeks after the wedding!
I would have to say they were our best vendor :)
I got an email today from these people:
http://snapzphotobooth.com/pricing.html
If you book by the end of the year they will give you $200 off. I haven't shopped them, so I don't know how they compare. I can forward the email to anyone who wants it. They said that you just have to mention the email.
I have heard rave reviews about PhotoWorks Interactive (800-990-8445) located in Santa Monica. I recently attended a party that used one of their booths and it was amazing! They used the "Model 12" version and the company provides props, scrapbook with a professional there to help assemble one, and photo print-outs with a CD. I would definitely recommend them!
@ ContraryMary- Were the pictures from Instabooth in a set of 4 pictures in a strip like the traditional photo booth?
Thanks
No, their pictures are on a 4x6 like a regular photograph but divided up into four sections....yea thats the only thing if you really want the traditional photobooth strip you gotta go check out the other companies!
one other thing....i think we had a couple of pictures where about 10 *yes 10!!! people were able to fit into this photobooth! lol. it was quite funny to see them all squish in, but the camera took a pic that shows everyone!
@contrarymary, thanks for the tip! i called them and i'm hoping i could afford them. they haven't gotten back with me yet (as it is 830 pm right now LOL). how much did you pay for their services?
i actually like it that their pics are not on strips like the usual photobooth. love it!
i think it was around $800 for three hours back in October? it was actually too much time for my 120 guests. we had a lot of kids doing lots of silly pics over and over again and some wedding crashers show up on our disc! its hilarious i think.
i love redcheese and cheesy photo booths! :) fotocabina also has a great look. i think all of these run about $1500-$2000, depending on the package.
I booked Peekaboo Photo Booths just last week. They had the best pricing and unlimited prints!
I was at a wedding last month and these guys did an amazing job. The props was awesome and their booth looks waaay better than the other ones that I have seen.
The pricing seems pretty reasonable ... We had 13 people in the booth at one point. lol I'm thinking of getting them for my wedding but don't know if I have the budget. Maybe I'll get a cheaper cake. haha
I will second the Instabooths recommendation. We had them there for our June 5th wedding, and everyone had so much fun! Our guests created a photo scrapbook/guestbook for us using the photobooth pics-- a great success! My husband and I were running around the reception area, and we didn't even think about taking photobooth pics. But before they packed up for the night, they made sure we went in as a couple and take a few shots-- I totally appreciated that! Oh, and they are willing to price match if you find a better price out there! :)

Hi Everyone,
I would love to have a photo booth for guests to take pictures but is there anyone you know who rents them for a reasonable price?
Thanks!
