I got boudoir pics and I ordered an album from my photographer. I asked for samples of albums but she was in the process of moving, so I was like "oh well, I'll just order one".

All I wanted was at least something hardbound. What I got was a flimsy 9x13 which was slightly bent after being mailed to me. Note that I did not pay very much for this, so I'm not surprised.

Here's my question: is there some sort of nice cover I can buy that would be easy to put on my paperback book? I don't want to take this to a store or send it out to be rebound because it's boudoir pics so it has to be done by myself. I just don't want it to get bent more and I want it to last awhile ;)

I could make my own using the cd of pics I have, but I don't want more copies of my pics.

Have you asked your photographer about it? I would definitely tell her you were expecting something more substantial and also that yours was damaged in the mail and see what she can do. She should definitely be willing to hook you up!

@kate169: Well seeing as I didn't get a nice book and she gave me no visible options for photo albums, I don't trust her anymore- I'll probably just end up with something else I don't like.

Just curious if there are any easy/creative solutions for putting a hardcover on a book.

@danicalifornia: I don't know of any ways to add a binding to a book that is already put together. Have you looked into making a book on blurb.com or adoramapix.com? It sucks you don't like the book from your photographer, but I would at least want to have a book I really liked.
