We got our first gift (group gift from people at my work) two weeks ago. I wrote them all TY's and gave them to each person.
I'd do it now.
well our stationary hasn't come in yet so we can't send out a written thank you until that happens =[
I would thank them in person at the wedding and then send a formal thank you note after your stationary is in. I wouldn't use text/fb even to let them know it came. At 10 days out, it's okay to wait until you see them.
That, however, is just me.

So the wedding is in less than 10 days and we got our first gift-- a meat tenderizer, from someone who will be attending. Should I text/facebook and say thanks now or should I just wait to say thanks ONLY via thank you.
Also.. if we don't say anything now.. can we verbally say thanks at the wedding or should we just wait and say it in the card?
NOTE: I WOULDN'T only be thanking them via text/fb... but part of me wants to say thanks now! Of course were still going to send thank you cards to everyone!
