I’ve seen this done and think it’s cute but I think people usually get less responce than they hoped. Most people just don’t fill them out. For most weddings I’m excited to get to see friends or family that live far away and I don’t get to see very often. So I’m probably going to be more interested in catching up with people than I am in filling out cute little cards. That being said, it’s not like I’d be offended by the cards or anything like that. And I might fill one out if there was some down time.

I am making a scrapbook guestbook. Guests get a page to themselves, a spot to put a photo, a question to answer, well wishes and sign their name. Getting really excited to make it! Going to be sooooo much work though.

These are the questions we are putting. One question per page.

As a guest, I really dislike those things.  I really don’t have anything that creative to say on those things.  It’s kind of “On the spot” putting.

I’m all for giving me something fun to do as a guest especially when things progress slowly at a wedding, but honestly these “advice” cards are not very fun. Personalized crossword and mad libs seem like way more fun.

Came back to add really fun reception activities: cartoon silhouette artist, photo booth/ back drop, roaming magician, and of course the bar!
