We are getting married at a beautiful lodge on a lake in May. My fiance's family in both London and New Zealand. We are broadcasting the wedding live to them and due to the time differences, our ceremony has to be at 2:00pm. We are serving a full meal that will be buffet style. Our ceremony will be outside and our reception tables set up inside. We are not doing a first look so all of our photos will be taken after the ceremony. We will have a relatively short ceremony and to fill in the time while we are taking photos this is what I was thinking. Serving drinks and some appetizers outside and maybe having some lawn games set up for people to enjoy for about an hour or so then when we return from photos, moving everyone indoors to begin the reception. We will have dancing at the reception, but people will also be free to go in and out as they please, and we will have quite a few children there. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to make this all go smoothly? Does anyone have any suggestions for lawn games or activities that I can include?
