I think margarita's are always a fantastic options. Perhaps not just a straight margarita but maybe something fun like a pomegranite one :) Gin and tonic is always a good suggestion too. You could also create a martini to fit your theme and offer a signature drink.

Hey Bees, I need YOUR help!
So I just spoke with my soon to be bartending service, (Our wedding venue doesn't have a liquor license) and they wanted me to compose a email stating what kind of drinks we'd like to serve at the reception. My options were that I could do a cash bar, half cash bar, full bar, or partial full bar
The cash bar option is a no..I just recently went to a wedding which offered a cash bar and felt that it was kind of tacky, (This is my opinion) but at $7 for a rum & coke! 8oz or so glass... I was kind of in shock...it was more expensive then the bar. Anyways
Full bar is out of the option as well b/c we would get the tab at the end of the night ekk
So we are going with partial bar... which means we pick out the liquor pay the price for the bottle (Getting a good rate) and they will provide garnishes and mixers...
We are deciding on 3-4 drinks to choose from and then red or white wine and a keg (Which will be hidden)
As of right now the drinks that come in mind are Cranberry & Vodka / Rum & Coke...
But we are stumped on what else to include?? We don't want to offer hard drinks, but social cocktails...long islands were a suggestion, but thats a lot of alcohol
Margarita on the rocks? but idk about tequila....:/ I need your help ladies!
Thanks!
