(Closed) Reception and ceremony at same venue…invitation wording?

“reception to follow” is enough. you don’t need to list the same place twice.

Yes, if you just put that one line guests understand that means the reception is at the same location.

I put “Cocktails, Dinner and Dancing to follow” on the bottom of mine. But I also had accommodation cards so the venues address was on there instead of the main invite.

That should be good.  We didn’t do any of that.  We just send the invitiation without a reception card, we didn’t even put the “Reception to follow after”.  lol  We did, however, send out “if you want to book a room that evening” card with the hotel information on it.  lol

Guess I’m lucky the guests figured it out.  That’s “Reception follows” is a great idea!!!  But, no … I don’t think you need to put the venue name again.
