blushblossom91:  Are any of your guests allowed to bring plus ones? If so, maybe add something into the RSVP so they can check off plus one so you have a better idea of how many people will be coming.

I think it sounds good! My only thought was about quantity. Do you want your guests to confirm how many are coming? Say, you send one invite to a couple but only one can make it? I know they could easily put the quantity next to the dish they want, but most people just write check marks and then there’s a guessing game.

blushblossom91:  Actually, it might be better to say “please initial next to choice of entree” so you know who is getting what.

We also had a “No. attending _____” line so people could inidicate if they were bringing a guest.

blushblossom91:  Some venues want one escort card per person, with some kind of mark on it (a sticker, stamp, or different colored cards), so that the servers can easily determine what entree to give the guest.

blushblossom91:  Lol all I could think of with this idea is if you send the invite to one person and they just eat alot of food they could order multiple meals. It might just be best to make it clear and just ask how many people are attending. Say if the invite is for 2 people you could put “__ of 2 guests attending” and they fill in the blank.

Just curious, if no escort cards, how do waitresses/staff  know who gets what?

blushblossom91:  I like this idea better! I’m not trying to cause your problems, but Ive read enough threads on here about people inviting three plus ones instead of just one and so on. For example, if you invite two people, they may RSVP for their children also even though they werent invited. Just something to think about 🙂
