How should I organize the reception cards? There are a ton for my side, but not that many for the grooms side. So should I make 3 categories – Brides side/Grooms side/Friends? Then put the cards in those categories? That might be easier than alphabetical order… Let me know what you guys think!

We are doing alphabetical order. I don’t want to categorize people, expecially those 1 or 2 that would be hard to put in 1 category or another.

Agree with Candi1024, alphabetize the entire group. Since you have way more on your side, it will look really uneven and make it even clearer that you have more people than your FI does.
I’ve been to many large weddings and it never takes that long to find your reception/table card when they are all in alpha order.
Maybe to make it easier, you can make section markers like A-H, I-P, Q-Z if you feel the whole thing wil be too overwhelming.
