I’m planning on having an adult only reception. I already set up our wedding website and indicated “adult only reception”. My dilemma is that not all of my guest can have access to the internet. Is it rude to put “Adult Reception” on the reception cards? or should I just hope they read it on our webpage or hope that someone lets some of my guest know?

I put Adult reception on ours and no one said they were offended by it.

I wrote Adult Reception to follow on the Information card and have seen it on the Invite as well!

All of the above will hopefully do the trick! 🙂 We’re having an adult reception, too.

I know this post is pretty old, but still might be dug up by potential brides like me! 🙂 We’re firm in our convictions of having a kid-free wedding, but are expecting some crying and screaming from fsil. We’re taking the precautions of
1. Not including childrens name on envelope
2. Specifying that we are saving 2 seats only for the husband and wife on the rsvp card
For most guests this will work just fine, but for the fsil I don’t know if they’ll get the hint so we’ll probably hear through the fmil grapevine that they’re pissed and might have to bring it up if it sounds like they’re bringing their little darlings anyway.
