How about:
Guests arriving early are welcome to tour the museum for free complements of the bride & groom.
"Guests are welcome to tour the museum prior to the reception. Check in at the front desk for complimentary admission."
I like "welcome" rather than "encouraged" because "encouraged" makes it sound a little bit more like it's required or you really want them to and some guests might not be interested.
How cool!
I like the second wording, and how fun that the museum will do that for you! too cool!
Thanks all! I completely agree with the "welcome" rather than " encouraged". I think I am going to go with the second one with that change.
@sewing - that our guests can walk through early is a really cool perk of our venue. The museum is basically open all night but the WC said most guests won't really leave the reception once it starts but many will come early (they also love that they have somewhere to send the early arriving guests! :)

Working on invitations, avoiding "real" work today. :) Here's a little context - we are having our ceremony at 3 at a church and the reception starts at 5:30. The reception is at a history museum. One nice thing is that guests are allowed to tour the museum for free if they arrive early (they can tour during the event as well but our coordinator says most don't). It was one feature I really liked about the museum since we knew we'd have a little gap between the ceremony and reception. However, I'm struggling with how to tell guests this on our reception cards. Here are my attempts but I don't love either. Thanks in advance!
