Wow, those are great! I'm so impressed that they are DIY! I personally like the first one. I'm not quite sure why- I'm just drawn to it more than the second one. It seems like the first one has a bit more substance to it.
I'm also not a huge fan of all the roses at the bottom of the second one. They don't seem to work as well with the flowers up above. They really take away from the long stemmed flowers. If they were my centerpieces, I would try replacing the roses with something else.. maybe greenery or something... I'm not sure what (sorry!). I know the first one has roses at the bottom too, but they are less noticeable.
They are beautiful!
These are awesome, great job! Personally I like the second one, do you have leaves or some type of greenery wrapped around inside the the vase? (If it is I would love to know how you did it) because I love that it adds a very modern flare!
Overall I like the balance of the second one, as your eyes go from the top to the bottom it appears balanced and well put together. The first is nice too, but I don't think I like the height of the flowers with such a narrow base.
Great DIY peices, you have a sharp eye!
They are both beautiful! Great job! I prefer the second one. I agree is is more balanced.
Those are great!! Personally, I like the first one. Are you trying to figure out if you should do both or just one?
Good job... It's hard enough asking my girls to help string some christmas lights...your so lucky!
I like the 2nd one best! Have fun!!!
Love the first one! I don't know what your colors are, but ribbon around the vase would be a nice touch to bring it all together!
Those both look amazing, but I think I like the second one best! you could also do both of them and just alternate the centerpieces between the tables.
Great work!
Thanks for your inputs. My wedding color is Green. We're using a taller and more wider square vase for the first centerpiece so that it will balance out right. Thanks BeachbrideT! You gave me an idea to replace those flowers and just add the green fillers at the bottom so that it won't look too busy.
As for the 2nd centerpiece, we're not using those orchids. We're sticking to the green one in the 1st centerpiece and using a taller round vase vs the short one shown above. The roses will be in fushia pink and green ones like the above. I might just add green fillers in instead. Not sure about it yet.
So altogether, we're going to be using 2 kind of vase, one square and one round for a 25 table centerpiece.
AnnieAAA- its really easy to wrap the leaves in the vase. We used a long and wide green leaf and wrap it around the square oasis and put it in the vase. The leaf hides the oasis in the vase.

Hi Everyone-
Over the past holiday weekend, a friend and I had put together 2 simple centerpiece that we will do ourselves for my wedding this July. All my bridesmaid and some of my girl friends will help out. Please give me your input on them.
