Weddingbee boards

I am so excited about my upcoming wedding. I will be getting married December 3 the weekend after Thanksgiving. I do not want to have the typical wedding food since we are probably going to have all those foods for the holiday. I have been coming up with ideas and this is what I have come up with. Bee's please give me some more food items for my menu.

• Shrimp
• Grits
• Chicken
• Waffles
• Salmon Balls
• Salad

@jamielkbaker:  We are having a November wedding and we are going for untraditional foods as well. Our catering is going to be done "station" style.

Station 1: Slider burgers and mini hot dogs served with fried pickles and ranch.

Station 2: Chicken wings and drumettes with a variety of sauces served with hot preztels (like the kind from ball games)

Station 3: Mini pizza station made to order.

We will have nachos served to the tables so that everyone isn't up all at once getting food. I'm super excited :)

Wow, that's sounds great. What a wonderful concept. How did you come up with these?

We are having an Orlando Magic theme wedding... well, kinda of. We are using the team colors and we want to try to keep it classy, but decided that for food we wanted to do what is usually served in an arena. We have an awesome caterer who helped us come up with the menu.

@techie: Mine too. I love it and I thought it was going to be tacky at first, but hey this is my day and I love, love, love chicken and waffles.
