I'm def. going to wear my dress all night, we're just going to bustle it up & hope that it works out that way! :) IF I were to get a reception dress, I'd probably change after the first dance just because I'd still want a picture of me in my wedding dress then.
I think if I go through with this, I would change after the first dance too. As I am sitting here looking, I don't think finances will allow me to get another dress. But I worry the weight of the skirt will break the bustle.
I've been to a wedding where the bride changed before the cake cutting which was after the first dance, dinner, and a little bit of dancing.
I am going to wear my dress all night long!!!! Our reception is scheduled to last about 3 hours, which is not long! i want to feel like a princess for the most time i can!
I am changing into my short party dress for the last 30 min of our reception..mostly just because we're having an after party at a bar/lounge up the street and I obviously cannot wear my gown there. But I have to say, i am PUMPED about the second dress.

Hey Hive,
So how many of you are doing a second dress for the reception?
My dress is full and I would love to wear it all night but dancing-the-night-away with the Mister will be a difficult task in a skirt like mine.
So I have been toying with the idea of having a second dress. But I kind of feel silly doing this since we are having a modest wedding and I have NEVER seen a real life dress change.
What are your thoughts?
If you are doing a second dress, when are you changing? After the first dance, before the reception?
