I always thought this David’s Bridal gown was really old Hollywood glam. There aren’t a lot of brides that can pull off the back of this dress:

this one shoulder hugs the curves too:

@woobie8709:  Im trying to find the style number, but i keep finding different ones, its sweet heart neckline, and then has feathers on the bottom. I love it. I saw one on etsy that looks similar that I wanna get, but im skeptical about getting it without trying it on. Things fit me so differently.

@woobie8709:  Would you do a short dress or do you want long?

This might be more of a ‘cut the cake’ dress since it’s more casual (especially the way it is styled here) but I think it’s so sexy and chic (so I actually bought it and would’ve worn it to the after party if I had it when I got married).  I would wear a killer pair of strappy sandals with it.

Art deco styles are typically more body con. Mine was sort of similar to this but not as plunging as this Jenny Packham.

@woobie8709:

Since you liked them, the short dress is by Haute Hippie (I got it at the NYC boutique half price.)  I wore it to this crazy party/performance dinner theater gala here a few weeks ago and it was so fun.

Not sure if your budget can include Jenny Packham (and if it does, I’m soooo jealous.)  I wore a Catherine Malandrino gown for our reception that was also satin with a plunging neckline (but more budget-friendly.)

@woobie8709:  Thanks!  Necklace is Lulu Frost.  I had a bracelet and earrings in jade & gold from my grandma but needed a necklace that would work with the neckline of the dress.

In addition to Jenny Packham, Temperley London also does some gorgeous gowns that are more form-fitting.  They’re on Net a Porter
