My venue will offer us three enchancement packages that would normally total $7 dollars per person for allof them, at a discounted rate of $5 per person, meaning that we are getting the one enchancement package for free, if we book the other two. Just an FYI we are having a winter wedding and there will be about 12 children in attendance.
As a guest which enchancemnet options would you enjoy more, option A, B or C? The last enhancement in each category is the one that differs from each group.
A. Vintage bottled wine with table side service for all guests during dinner $2 per person. Sorbet Intermezzo during sit down dinner in choice of flavor $2 per peson. Espresso/Cappuccino/Cordial bar for all guest after dinner service with option to add coridal of their choice $3 per person. So one of the $2 enchancemnts would be free.
B. Vintage bottled wine with table side service for all guests during dinner $2 per person. Sorbet Intermezzo during sit down dinner in choice of flavor $2 per peson. Flowing Fountain of Chocolate dessert station with all kinds of goodies to dip in the chocolate like fruite, cookies, pretzels, pound cake pieces, etc. $3 per person. So one of the $2 enchancemnts would be free.
C.Vintage bottled wine with table side service for all guests during dinner $2 per person. Sorbet Intermezzo during sit down dinner in choice of flavor $2 per peson. Champagne Ice Luge a carved ice sculpture during cocktail hour with champange flowing down it into glasses for guest to drink, $3 per person. So one of the $2 enchancemnts would be free.

Or do you think enhancements are a waste of money?

If you want to go with the enhancement, I would declare option B as a clear winner. Also would be a hit with the kids, I think. The champagne luge is fancy but I think I can count the number of people I know who actually LIKE champagne on one hand.

If I were a guest, B would be the thing that would delight me more than anything. CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN.
Lots of people don’t go for drinking a ton of caffeine or alcohol… but who can say no to a chocolate fountain!?

i said “A” but i think it might all be unnecessary. As a guest i wouldnt care about a fancy wine selection… or about sorbet. and most people prolly wouldn’t notice the champagne luge, since theyre gonna be paying more attention to you and the groom…i would however, love the option of espresso after dinner… like when the cake is being served.
also, i think a chocolate fountain with 12 kids could get seriously messy depending on how old they are. we’re doing a kids table with candy& some toys/crafts that will keep our kiddo guests occupied while the parents are dancing etc.
you may be able to save some money from these extra options and find some other details that you’re really excited about instead and just pay for that on it’s own…

@mishagirls79: the champagne ice luge would fit your winter wedding but i don’t think the majority of your guests will appreciate it as much as the chocolate. for guest purposes, i’d pick B

I like option B the best because it includes everyone at the wedding. It’s the most universal option. Champagne and coffee are both kind of hit or miss with adults. I love the fountain idea because it can be both elegant and sophisticated as well as fun and yummy – a hit with all age groups! 🙂

Did someone say chocolate fountain!? 🙂

@mypinkshoes: We already have an ice sculpture that will be setup in the cocktail room which is also where the bar is, so that will be enjoyed all night.
Seems like option B is the biggest hit so far. 🙂 My SO likes option A, because of the coffee, but I think the kids and adults will enjoy the chocolate fountain more.

It’s a hard choice between the chocolate fountain and espresso bar, yum!!

chocolate fountain for the win!

I love coffee with dessert so I chose A. And while I lalso ove chocolate, I’m not big at all on chocolate fountains. Just seems too easy for people’s fingers to get in there and gross it all up.
